Janet,

You might want to check Timber Creek, Grant Township, Clay County, Kansas. In April 1856 there was a MOSES,WILLIAM and JEREMIAH YOUNKIN that settled with John King, all from Somerset County,Penn. They are supposed to be the first settlers of Clay County. MOSES was the son of HENRY YOUNKIN & MARY KING and grandson of FREDERICK YOUNKIN.
