Looking for info on HARRY and NANCY TUCKER of Ft. Scott.
Found Nancy already a widow with small children in Ft. Scott in the 1875 census. What happened to her husband Harry?
The census showed them to be out of North Carolina, does anyone happen to know of this family and can tell me where they were from in North Carolina? I have no county name to find them.
My TUCKER neighbor is looking for family information. He descends from this couple. His father was born in Ft. Scott.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is anxious to find some family info to get us back to North Carolina and maybe find another generation of his family.
