August Siebert/Sebert born WI moved IA then KS

My gg grandfather is Johann Casper Siebert. B: 1825 in Sachsen Prussia He was married to Eliza Klincing B: 1822 Sachsen Prussia. They were married about 1843 in Wisconsin.

My g Grandfather August Siebert lived in Iowa. His wife Emma Boeck. When she died he married Vera ? The moved to KS. Somewhere along the line the last name became Sebert.

There is conflicting info on the last name. Some family members believe it was Sebert from beginning. Others believe it was changed to Sebert down the line.

My Grandfather was Chester Carl Sebert of Kansas City MO.

If anyone has any information on my family I would appreciate it very much
