Joan, at this moment, I do not have a connection...but I have just started on this line, and I'm getting more information all the time. This is my mother-in-law's line and she has 11 siblings, almost all still alive and willing to give information. I tentatively have identified the father of James Fritz as Daniel S Hetzel, b NJ, his other children were Milton and Sarah. Milton also moved from NJ to Kansas, and I'm taking a look at more census to determine all his children. I know he had a Milton, JR, and George and Ralph, plus a daughter, Rose. This was in 1910 census in Edwards County, KS.
Eugene Hetzel, son of James Fritz, married Ina May Pence in 1889 in Topeka, KS and Princeton is nearby as is Elmont, KS where Eugene was born. So, I'd bet there are connections. Will let you know if I find any, please do the same for us! Thanks, Karen
