I am searching for my grandfather, Dennis Patrick O'Connell who was born in Blaine County, Kansas in 1883 and had a brother Ambrose who was married to Gladys. His mother, born in Kentucky, was Katheryn(sp) and his father (don't know the first name) was born in New York.
Dennis married my grandmother, Margaret Hyde Flannery of Beloit, KS., in Hutchinson KS. around 1909. They had two daughters, Margaret Mary (@1911) and my mother Kathleen Jane in 1915. He disappeared from their life for the most part and at some point they were divorced. He was a travelling shoe salesman who worked at one point for Sears and Roebuck but left there shortly before the 1929 market crash. The last time my mother saw him was the mid to late twenties.
I would appreciate it if anyone recognizes this and contacts me. My mother is still alive but in poor health and I would dearly love to solve this mystery that has always haunted her before she dies.
