Searching for information on James Peyton Reed, thought to be born May 7, 1839 near Centerville, Iowa.
Died June 25, 1929 Canton, McPherson, Kansas. Parents Benjamin Reed and Nellie (Unknown). Both from Kentucky. This was the first of Benjamins' 3 marriages. He also married an Althy Gants, and my grgr grandmother, Permelia Lyons.
Siblings William, Lucille, Frank, Charles by this marriage.
