Looking for information a possible marriage of Catherine Burke, born about 1862, between 1880-1885ish. The marriage was most likely in the Roman Catholic church. In the 1880 census, the Burke family included the father Michael and Catherine, young Michael J. and Ellen in Vermillion, Marshall Kansas. Other children are Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Edward and Marguerite. The father, Michael was apparently born about 1810 in Roscommon Ireland. His wife, Winifred, was a Donnelin. Family apparently lived also in Maryland and Virginia. Catherine may have married John McDermott sometime between 1880 and 1885. Thank you for any information you may have.
