E.V.E. checked R.P.B.S.'s 1885 census index. Checking only Easton Township there was a household headed by Richard Wilburn, on roll 143 of the microfilm. I have that roll and a microfilm reader, but am too sick to go to the second floor to view it now. I will try latter. E.V.E. took a glance at our unpublished 1895 census indexed, and found a Richard Wilbur in Fairmount Township. The latter was age 46, born in Ohio, and there were 3 more people of the same surname. In 1895, in Easton Township, N. Wilburn, age 46, born Ky., "came to Kansas from Mo.", 6 more in his household named Wilburn. I have that roll, also.
