Both have a cemetery. Many prisoners are buried in public and private cemeteries in Lv. Co., if their families or friends paid. Others were shipped home for burial, if the families claimed the bodies. I assume they too had to pay to have the body embalmed, boxed, and shipped. Burial permits would have to had been issued for the burials off Federal property. At Army posts, Quartermaster forms were used. Quartermaster Reports should mention them, too.
