Do you know which hospital? In which city was the hospital? Did you know that the state penn. has a cemetery on its grounds? If you don't know where he was buried, you could write the state penn. and ask them, if he is buried there. If not, ask them which funeral home (address too) handled the body. The funeral home might have a record of where he was buried or shipped. They might even have an obit. Since Lv. is on the state line with Missouri, his death certificate could be in Ks. or Mo., depending on where he died enroute. Lv. City has 3 hospitals (Cushing, St. John's, V.A.); plus Munson at Fort Lv. Very serious or complicated cases are sent to K.U. Medical Center in K.C.K.; or Providence Hospital in K.C.K. If you are related, you can order a Death Certificate from Vitial Statics in Topeka, Ks. for a Ks. death, for a small fee. It would show the name of the funeral home, and cemetery, and Kin, etc. His town of last residence and or home town, or town where he committed the crime, are more likely to have his obit.
