Hi Arlen! Lets see if we are connected to the same Dr. Samuel Phillips. He as born in Kentucky around 1795 I found him in the 1840-1850 Platte County, Missouri Census records. In 1860-1870-1880 he is located in Leavenworth County, Kansas. His wife's name is Sarah. I am looking for the names of his children. I know for sure my GGGrandfather Edmund S. Sebree married his daughter Catherine (maybe Judith Catherine)in 1855 in Leavenworth Ks. In this same ceremony Francis Phillips married A. K. Elliott (Alexander Elliott) I also know he had a son named Richard M. Phillips who was a doctor too. What I am trying to find out is, if he had a daughter by the name of Louisa or Sarah Louisa. I feel almost certain this is my GGGrandmother. She married Joseph Endicott. Joseph and Louise's oldest daughter, Sarah, married John S. Sebree (son of Edmund S. Sebree who married Catherine Phillips) Catherine was considerably younger than Edmund and they had two boys, William and Edward. Catherine died not long after the last son was born. I can't trace the boys very long. Only a census or two. I think Louisa died after 1880 in Platte co, Missouri. Oh my;! I hope I haven't scrambled your brain!! I so hope we have a connection. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much! Notify Administrator about this message?
