I am a decendant of Frank Eubanks, brother of Walker Eubanks. I would appreciate any information about this family.

Walker Eubanks, b.Aug.

Walker Eubanks came to Missouri from Mason County, Kentucky after being woulded and discharged from the Civil War (Northern Army) and married Kathleen Elizabeth Rodgers. He may have changed his name to John Parker. All of his children went by the name of Parker (John, Nola, Kathleen Elizabeth and May/Mayme). His wife died six months after the birth of her last child. He raised watermellons on a sandbar in the Missouri River, which has since been washed away. He eventually entered the Old Soldiers Home at Wadsworth Kansas and died there. He is buried in the military cemetery there. His sister lived in West Union, Ohio,

I checked the national cemetery for Wadsworth, Kansas.
