It is located in Alexandia Township, Leavenworth County, Ks. I have been to this cemetery, as well as over 64 other Leavenworth Co. cemeteries. I live in Lv. Co.
There are at least 8 Skagg burials prior to 1980, and they are all adults.
The births range from 1830 to 1904. The deaths range from 1856 to 1940.
If they died in Kansas, then death certificates should be available from the state offices in Topeka, Ks. for 3 of them ($10 each).
The community of Jarbalo is about two miles away to the southeast. Jarbalo is a tiny settlement, and does not currently have a post office nor much else. A church and a handful of houses, and an abandoned brick High School.
The Skaggs buried there are:
Eliza J., Jesse G., John W., Joseph, Josephine R., Julia A., Lewis, Lola.
