No, I am not related to these Labette Co. people. Mine from Labette are the Hendricks, etc., from Illinois to Labette about 1883. Greats were Judge George W. Hendricks and Nancy Selenda Johnson Crain Hendricks. Both buried at Oswego.
Sure the application for pension is the correct Susan. She is listed as Susie M. on the 1920 census in Pottawatomie Co. OK.......a truck farmer living alone, age 75.
Have foune an index showing the names of C. and Susan in a history book of Pottawatomie Co. that we have in our local library..."Pottawatomie County Okla History"...will check it out after our library opens.
