Amy & William Loucks

In the book Pioneer Women-Voices From The Kansas Frontier it tells of Amy Loucks (married name)who lived in Lakin and doctored many people. I would like to know the genealogy of William, her husband. They both came from PA as did our Loucks and they lived in Lakin, but I can't find a William in our names. Ours is Dayton Loucks in Lakin on the 1880 census working on the RR. Then moved to Hutch by the 1900 census on.
