Dave,

Thank you so much for all the time it took, and the trouble you went to in providing this information for me. It is much more than I ever expected to find. You mailed me copies of William and Susannah's obits back in July. Thanks for adding that of her father, Samuel. I do appreciate all this hard work.

I do have Susannah's will, but not her father's. I'm pleased to have all this extra information and grateful for all the work you have done on my behalf. It's not necessary to go back for Eliza's obit or for Elmer's, though, as I'm not really related to Susannah's family.

Mahanay is my direct line and main interest. All that you have provided will go a long way in filling out the story of William and Susannah's life together. I do enjoy having information on the families that my people married into. It makes their stories that much more interesting to me. Thank you for giving me the extra detailed information.

Previously, I couldn't figure out how William ended up in Kansas when none of the other members of his family were there. I now know that he met Susannah when she and her widowed father lived next door to him in Oklahoma. William apparently moved his family to Kansas because of Susannah's love for her father and her desire to be near him and her family.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Karen Raichle
