Obituary Index for The Kansas City TIMES and Kansas City STAR, started in 1977 and indexing obituaries of Johnson County residents who had an obituary published in either paper. Both papers were published in Kansas City, MO. The TIMES was the morning paper, Monday – Saturday, the STAR was the evening paper and Sunday paper. The TIMES ceased publication in the late 1980s and the STAR in now the morning and Sunday paper.

Obituary Index for Johnson County, Kansas county newspapers, currently containing an index for the Johnson County Democrat. The index starts in 1920 and runs past in1950. I am not sure when this paper ceased publication. (Note that it was published before 1920 but those compiling the index picked 1920 as the starting year)

“The History of Johnson County Kansas” by Ed Blair, published in 1915 has a biographical sketch for a Case, H. H on page 285. Do you want me to check and see if this is the Harry H who married Mable Swank?
