I am researching the family of John William Addy and Abigail Eckerson. He was born about 1855 in OH and probably died in Cherokee Co., Kansas between 1910 and 1920. On 3 Jan. 1877 in Johnson Co., Kansas he married Abigail Eckerson. She was born in about August 1849 in either IL or IA to Rev. David A. Eckerson and Jerusha Ann Eberhart. They are shown on the 1880 US Census in McCamish, Johnson Co., Kansas and in 1900 they were in Greene Co., Missouri in Republic City. By 1910 Abigail was apparently deceased as John was show as widowed and living in Galena, Cherokee Co., Kansas. Their known children were:
Ina - born about 1877 in IL
Alma - b. Sept 1878 in IL (she was single and living in Newton, Havey Co., KS in 1900
Ethel, b. Feb. 1880 in IL
Oma, b. Jan. 1882 in KS
Minnie, b. Dec 1883 in KS
Rue W., b. Dec 1885 in KS - she married Aaron Dutton and they lived in Cherokee Co., Kansas
Cecele, b. Oct. 1887 in KS
Ira, b. April 1894 in KS
