Maelle, have you come accross the Scrivner surname in your Brown and McFarland research?
I have read some of your other postings and noticed Browns and McFarlands from Oh>MO>KS, I have a Carson McFarland (from OH, don't know Co. ) mar. to Margaret Scrivner (from Muskingum Co., OH) on Nov. 4,1852 in Platte Co., Mo. . Margaret's sister , Emily Rebecca Scrivner , mar. Thomas Henry Brown ,Oct. 20,1853, Platte Co., Mo. ( Both died in Perry, Jefferson Co., Ks. ), also , Levi Scrivner (brother to Margaret and Emily) mar. Martha Merelda Brown (twin sister to Thomas H. Brown) on Feb. 5, 1854 in Platte Co., Mo.. The Scrivners and McFarlands ended up in Taylor Co., Ia. , Thomas Henry and Emily Rebecca Brown stayed in Atchison, Leavenworth and Jefferson Co.s , Ks. .
Do any of these names ring a bell ?

Jeff McDonald
