KS by JoAnn Cantrell of 261 The following from Oskaloosa Independent of 7 May 1892 under "Williamstown Notes" William Johnson died at the Mitchell farm April 28; was buried in the Underwood cemetery on the 29th. Mr. Johnson was 58 years old, had raised quite a family all of which are now grown to manhood and womanhood.
