I don't find much on the Hosler names in Jeff. Co. death records. I do find the marriage record as follows:
William J. Hosler, age 21, of Valley Falls, married on 28 Jan. 1882, to Daisy Whitman, age 18, of Valley Falls. They were married at Valley Falls by Wm. Clark, J.P. Book E, page 5.
I don't find William in the 1885 Jeff. Co. census, but do find him in 1875--but he may have lied about his age at time of marriage or was mis-read from census??
Abram Hosler, age 56, farmer, b. PA, to KS from MO., living Del. Twp.
Martha Hosler, age 36, b. WV, to KS from WV,
Eugene(?) Hosler, age 19, b. IN
D. V. Hosler, age 17, b. IN,
W. J. Hosler, age 12, b. KS.
Now, back to the marriage records--
Abram Hosler, married 17 Aug. 1862, to Martha Ann May. Book A, page 28.
Abraham Hosler, aged 63, married 9 Jan. 1881, to Jennie Leonard, age 47. Book C, page 284.
Death Records--
Abraham Hosler, b. 9 Jan. 1818, d. 14 Jul. 1910, bur. Valley Falls.
Martha A. (May) Hosler, b. 30 Oct. 1838, d. 13 Sep. 1880, bur. Valley Falls.
