I am looking for information on Samuel Ross d. 1865 Jefferson Co., Ks.
He was a farmer -- a Methodist
served in war of 1812

On Jan 21, 1809 purchased land on the Tennessee River at a sherif's sale.
Dec 29,1811 he was directed to satisfy a judgement in a lawsuit
On 1-10-1812 a lawsuit referred to a steer running on his property
Served in war of 1812
3-3-1815 he sold 138 ac land on Tennessee River to James Hall --he was referred to as "of Knox Co."
1843: his wife Catherine died in Nebo, Ark.
1850 -- Carroll Co., In
1860 -- Jefferson co., Ks.
1865 --dies in Jefferson co., Ks

The father of 9 children
Phoebe, Margaret, thomas, Lucretia, Patsy, Lewis, Eliza, Richard D, and Samuel D.
