Looking for any information about the family of Joseph T. Scott and his wife Jerusha Jackson who came to Kansas about 1869-70. At the time of the 1880 census they were living in the town of Franklin in Jackson County. Their children in that census were:
Thomas H. Scott, age 17, born IA
Onias J. Scott, age 16, born IA
Mary A. Scott, age 13, born IA
William A. Scott, age 12, born IA
Annie J. Scott, age 10, born KS
Sarah Scott, age 8, born KS
Daraxa B. Scott, age 5, born KS
Before moving to Kansas they were in Des Moines County, Iowa. Jerusha Jackson was a daughter of Des Moines County settlers Onias Jackson and wife Daraxa Laughlin. Jerusha was born 1836 in Rush County, Indiana. Joseph T. Scott was born in Ireland about 1825 according to the census.
