In Hoyt Cemetery are these markers: "David M. Hedrick d. 7 Nov. 1892, aged 63 years 10 months 12 days." (There is a G.A.R. marker.) Also "Matilda Hedrick, born 1846, died 1913"; and "Sidney Hedrick, born 1868, died 1925." This is from my book "Monumental Inscriptions from Jackson County, Kansas, Cemeteries."
