LARRABEE/1887-1888/Haskell CO

My great-grandparents Henry and Jane Larrabee went out to Haskell CO KS in 1887 or 1888. In October 1888 Henry died of typhoid at Example KS so I assume that's near where their land was. The town no longer exists. Can anyone tell me where it was? Thanks.
