Joseph and Alvinia BONGARD from Newton( and Peabody)

I am searching for info about my gggrandparents. Joseph BONGARD was born in 1841,Germany. Came to America in 1842. Married Alvinia MEISER in IL in 1873. They moved to Peabody around 1875 then lived in Newton. He was a painter. They had five children. James, Joseph, Alice, Katie and Bessie. I would love to hear from anyone with info.
