Yes, Piedmont, Kansas is the area that I am looking at. My G-grandfather, Solomon Fansler moved from Ill. to Greenwood Co. He was located in the 1880 census and his son, Joab [joel]was 16 at that time. To the best of family history we have is that he married a girl named Lillie Slavens, who died in childbirth in Ks., but I don't have proof.
