John: Hope your move was successful and your now rested. I just wanted to send on to you the latest in formation I have concerning William R., that is if our "Williams" are the same and I believe them to be.

Parent: Robert Whitehead and Evaline Taylor
Married Dec. 1846 Buchanan Co. Mo.
Children:
WILLIAM R. WHITEHEAD B. ABT. 1847 MO.
Silas Whitehead B. Abt. 1850-1851 MO. (census of 1870 said Silas was born in Ill )
Albert Whitehead B. Abt. 1852-1853 Mo
Robert, Jr.Whitehead B. Abt. 1855-1856 Mo.
Martha Whitehead B. 1857 Ks.
Annie Whitehead B. Abt. 1859 Ks.
John Whitehead B. Abt. 1860-1861 Ks.
G.S. Whitehead B. Abt. 1862 Ks.
Thomas Whitehead B. Abt. 1864 Ks.
Emily Whitehead B. Abt. Ks.
I have 1860 census, Buchanan Co. MO, 1865 census, Brown Co.,Ks., 1870 census, Leavenworth Co., Ks. for this family. The ages vary in all three of them with a name change on G.S. noted. This family moved back and forth Mo. and Ks. William R. was still with them in 1870 age 22. Can you tell me when he married. The date in your message stated he was born in 1848 and married in 1848 and knew that was a typographacal error.
I would appreciate it very much John if you will get back to me at your convenience of course. Best Regards, Joan.
