George Shoop, born 1812 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, is found in the 1880 Census in Cutler, Franklin County, Kansas with his adult son, Madison Shoop, and his daughter, Catharine Susan Strohm, and son-in-law, Moses Strohm. Did George Shoop die in Franklin County prior to the State Census in 1885? His daughter and son-in-law, M B and S E Strohm are found in the 1885 Census in Ottawa, Franklin County. I can't find Moses and Susan Strohm in any census records after 1885. Where did they go? George Shoop's son, Madison Shoop, moved to Guilford, Wilson County, Kansas. Would appreicate any informatin. Thank you.
