I have a copy of "Affidavit in Proof of Death" for William A. Jones. This Wm. A. Jones is not of my family, and would like to give this packet to a family member.
William A. Jones died in Ottawa, Franklin Co. Kansas 4 July 1936. At the time of his death, his heirs lived:
Cora A. Jones wite age 57...Ottawa, KS (this must be a 2nd wife)
Alice Trindle dau age 52...Salem, Oregon
Mabel Golden dau age 50...Oakland, California
Florence Ward dau age 48...Monrovia, California
Mildred Rodgers dau age 42..Ames, Iowa
Conrad Jones son age 40..Columbus, Georgia
Laura Hass dau age 37..Wellsville, Franklin Co., KS
Bessie Maxwell dau age 33..Manhattan, KS
Edith Jones dau age 25...New Haven, CT
Milo Jones son ae 20....Ottawa, Franklin Co., KS
I did look on the 1920 KS Census in Franklin Co. KS and William A. Jones was born in Wales.abt 1858, immig. in 1870's. His current wife Cora was b. in Iowa abt 1879.
