Seeking parents and siblings of Ernest and Gregory Leopold Geoffroy. Gregory was living in Franklin co KS when he went to Civil War and upon his return, then moved to Osage co KS. Ernest was living in Franklin co KS 1870 and 1880 census.
Charles Jerffrey Peoria, Franklin, KS abt 1847 France and Ernest Jerffrey Peoria, Franklin, KS abt 1851 {1841} France were enumerated in 1870. Ernest was living in Cutler, Franklin, Kansas in 1880.
According to Ernest's son, Frank's bio, the family came to US in 1849 and settled in Franklin county in 1855, Gregory's obit says 1857. I haven't found anyone by the name Geoffroy in the 1860 census.
Ernest and Gregory are listed as brothers in Gregory's obit. Other possible children in the family are Charles, George, and T. J. all born in the early 1840's in France.
Gregory and T.J. both served in the 12 KS INF in the Civil War.
