Researching my gg-grandfather Robert Prewitt Davis, b. 21 Sept. 1866, son of Winchester and Estelle (Prewitt) Davis of Fayette, Howard Co., Missouri. Grandson of Sarah (Green) and Col. Joseph M. Davis.
Prewitt Davis married Mary Elizabeth Cook, daughter of Saluda (Brown) and Silas Cook in 1890. Prewitt died 7 Feb. 1910 in Ricmond, Franklin Co., Kansas. Unable to locate grave.
Mary (Cook) Davis b. 16 June 1871 in Harrison Co., Indiana d. 20 Oct. 1954 and buried at Greensburg, Kansas.
Children of Prewitt and Mary Davis were: Chester (Chet), Clifford, Charles, Estelle Opal, Mary Lou and Otis Wendell (Jack).
