George M. Chesser b. Lawrence KS in 1863

I am trying to locate information on George M. Chesser who was born in Lawrence, KS on 16 August 1863. He married Mary Price in MO but I can't find him any further back. If someone has a census from 1870 or 1880 and can look him up I would appreciate it. If there are any other records that could lead me on please elaborate for me.
