Helm and Black // Brown and Doniphan Cos

I'm looking for some Helm and Black
family members who appear in county
records about 1910.

Background:

In May 1908 in an obituary in Sidney, Champaign Co IL, "Mr and Mrs G W Helm
of Hiawatha KS" are mentioned. George
Helm was originally of Champaign Co
but disappears in the 1880's.

A 1950's family researcher identified this
Mrs Helm as Jessie Fremont Black. We
don't know how he knew that (or if he
really knew that ;^).

On the 1910 census of Doniphan Co,
Denton, Union TWP is
Helm, Geo W age 54
Jessie (w, 39)
and children
Leela (22 or 23), John M (20),
Marie (19), James A (12)
and brother in law C M Black (53),
a widower.

(George's father was James Helm,
and Jessie's father might have been
John F Black.)

They are renters.

There are some problems with the bio.
information in the rest of the census
listing but most of it has the right
stuff (Illinois origins).

I haven't found them in the 1920 census.

Obviously a good circumstantial match.
Any help appreciated finding traces of
these folks.
