I first thought about Bourbon County, I knew Fort Scott was there, but was never aware of a Ft. Smith in Bourbon Co. My world atlas from the 1940's shows only one Ft. Smith, the one in Arkansas. Can you clarify for me? I tried to e-mail you privately but the address on your GENFORUM list however, it was returned showing permanant fatal errors.
