OBIT/CEMETERY look up 1884

This is a tricky one. According to 1903 Cloud Co. Kansas History, page 659-660, Bert Porter married Florence Stout.
It also tells that Florence's mother Mary died with in two weeks of her youngest sisters birthday, July 4, 1884. My great grandmother Myrtle (Myrtie) was that child. Within 6 months of birth she is with an R.D. and Sarah Smith Joiner, Joiners lived in "Kansas" in 1893 newspaper clipping for about 20 years before returning to NY (birthplace) in 1893. R.D. and Sarah Smith Joiner- both born and died in Virgil, Cortland Co., NY. Myrtie and sisters kept in touch and saw each other. Henry and Mary Long(Iowa) Stout would not just hand a child to a couple. Looking for Mary's obit/cemetery. When did Henry die? What relationship were they to each other. Just friends? Neighbors? Sisters were Minnie (Frank Campbell), Maggie (James Joslyn), Nellie (Ulysses Nichols), Florence (Bert Porter)..and grandma Myrtie.
Thanks in advance for your help.
