Thank you ever so much for the info! That sure helps knowing that Joseph is really there in Cloud County. When we head to Kansas in late May, at least we'll have an idea where to look now. We will have to stop at the wonderful library in Concordia and see if we can find the microfilm to find that article about the "train accident that he was killed in",according to family lore. At least find his obit, for that date.
The Dinsmore family...strange that Myrtle Agnes wasn't buried there with Henry? I have Myrtle born in 1885 and no death date, and Henry as 1869 and the death date, ( Aug 5, 1955) I got from someone back in 2001 from a message I posted at that time. Now I'm thinking this Dinsmore family may not be the one that I'm looking for? I always thought that they had stayed there, but maybe I was wrong.
Thanks for your help!
Carolyn S. Pittman
