Does anyone have special knowledge about Hunitng Buffalo in the area of the Republican River to provide meat for the Railroad workers? About 1870-74?
My gf went to Jewell County in a wagon train 1872 or before for this purpose. He lived in BrownsCreek area of Jewell County, but was there to hunt Buffalo for meat. NEED someone with historical knowledge of that area.
Thanks, JAN ---- Does anyone know the address of the Cloud or Concordia Historical Soc?
