Thank you for being so kind as to take the time to look. I appreciate it. I have yet to find anything on the Cloptons, Rosa Bumgardner Clopton was the neice of Alexander Bumgardner. I did manage to learn that Alexander died 05-15-1915 of smallpox in Galena KS, and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery KS.
I always wondered why my Greatgrandfather would leave his home and family and move to Kansas for work. I did not realize the money was that good. Thank you again,
