Dorothy, like Peg in another message, if no one responds to your message, you may have two options to find the obit. You can ask the Genealogy Society in Sedan to search their newspaper articles, and they are quite extensive. They do charge a fee, but since you know the exact date it shouldn't be a large fee. You can find their address by going to http://www.ksgennet.org/ks/cq/index.html and click on the "Genealogy Society" link found on the left side of the page. Your second option is the Kansas State Historical Societies microfilm collection of old newspapers. They will loan your library microfilm rolls, free of charge, for a period of two weeks. Their URL is http://www.kshs.org/ click on genealogist on the left side of that page and it will take you to a page where you will find a "newspaper" link click on that and follow the direction. If you have any trouble with the above let me know and I'll see if I can be of help. Don Tharp detict@cox.net Notify Administrator about this message?
