Dorsey, Maudie May, daughter W F;. May 1890 10 S. Missouri

I am seeking this Dorsey family. What happened to it. Was this James T. Dorsey? who died Wichita Kansas 1910? Who was the Buck family? What happened to it? What was the partnership? Where was the daughter Maudie May in 1900 census? I would really like to know. Can you help? Does anyone know how to access Kansas 1900 census?
