If anyone is looking for information on the Clark family who arrived in Benton County, Arkansas after the Civil War, and has remained there, send me an email and I will provide you the private url to my research of this family.

This Clark line is traced back to John (Johnny) Clark, b. abt 1808 Kentucky. These Clarks migrated KY>IN>KS>AR, with some of the sons serving in the Civil War on the Union side for the state of Indiana.

Their major counties of residence in this migration were:

Washington Co., Kentucky
Montgomery Co., Indiana
Butler Co., Kansas (mostly around Clay township)
Benton Co., Arkansas

John Clark is as far back as I have been able to trace so far, so if anyone has more information on this line, I would appreciate sharing it with you.
