I need some help locating a grandmother's and a greatgrandmother's families.
First on the Maternal side: I am trying to find the parents names for an Edna Davis that married Charles G. Whisler (he was born and raised in the Marion Kansas area and I'm sure they married in Kansas) in approx 1934-1935 they had three sons James (born in 1935), Freddie and Lonnie. Edna had two older sisters Pearl (who married a Watts, she's now deceased) and Jessie (who married a Bayes), there may have been more siblings but I don't know them. I know her parents are buried in the Butler County area, I think Sunset Lawns in El Dorado, but I'm not sure.
Next on the Paternal side: I am looking for a Ruth A. Clark who was born in 1932 and married Willard F. Scheid in approx. 1948-1955. They settled in the Towanda (Butler County) Kansas area and this may be where they were married. I located Willard's family on the 1930 census in Jackson County Kansas, so it's possible that Ruth lived in this area too, but she was not born yet--so I couldn't find her.
Any help that any one can offer would be deeply appreciated.
