Paintings of World War I soldiers in Horton

My grandfather, Earl A. O'Brien (1893-1940), a resident of Horton, Kansas, served in World War I (Co. B, 137th Infantry). I have a large oval painting of him in his Army uniform and am told that a woman in Horton painted these for all of the soldiers. Does anyone else have a similar painting for a soldier from Horton? I am interested in learning the name of the artist, as the painting is not signed. Thank you.
