In case you don't have the census data, here it is (not of my lines).

1930 US Census for Brown County, Kansas, Horton City, Ward 2, ED 7-10, Page 84B (8B), East 10th, 348/205/209

Howard Clark, Head, 37, M, 28, KS, OH, KS, Owner, Tires, Battery Shop
Edna, Wife, 35, M, 27, KS, OH, OH
Nancy, Dau, 3-7/12, S, KS, KS, KS
Jane, Dau, 1-3/12, S, KS, KS, KS
Chas Lambert, Father-in-law, 65, WD, 25, OH, OH, OH, Commercial Salesman, Hardware,
Harlan, Brother-in-law, 20, S, KS, OH, OH, Apprentice, Plumbing Shop

1920 US Census for Brown County, Kansas, Mission Township, Horton City, Second Ward, Florence Street, ED 26, Page 81B (5B), 112/ 133

Charles M Lambert, Head, 54, M, OH, OH, OH, Commercial Truck(?), Hardware
Chattie L., Wife, 52, M, OH, KY, NY,
Sherman D., Son, 22, KS, OH, OH
Harlan B., Son, 10, KS, OH, OH

Howard Clark is living with his widowed aunt (McKee), cousins, and sister in 1920 in Horton City, ED 25, Page 64.

Edna is in Hiawatha working as a bookkeeper ED 21, Page 31.

My best guess for Charles in 1880 is in Lawrence County, Ohio, Aid Township. This Charles is the son of William and Mahala Lambert. Seven childern and a brother Thornton in the household. B.M. and Virene(?) Lambert next door with 5 children and a niece.

Good hunting, Frank
