Newspaper clipping from Grandma's scrapbook (sorry, no date):

"SHULL - WILSON.
Miss Ruth Shull and Earl Wilson gave their friends a big surprise last Friday by going to Iola, accompanied by Miss Helen Ramsey and Ray George, and being married by the Probate Judge of Allen county at high noon. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shull and is a favorite with her young friends. She was very pretty and attractive looking in a handsome dress of blue crepe. She is a junior in the high school. The groom is an industrious young farmer, well and favorably known. He is a graduate of 1927. They will make their home for the present with Mr. Wilson's parents. We wish for them a long, happy and prosperous married life."
