Newspaper clipping from Grandma's scrapbook. Note that although it says 'continued' at the bottom of the article, my grandma didn't appear to keep the bottom portion.
"The Methodist church was filled to capacity Friday afternoon when relatives and friends gathered for the funeral rites of Floyd Hines. There was a wealth of floral offerings. Miss Nana Mc Kean played the prelude and postlude and accompanied the quartet composed of C.B. Wright, Lawrence Moore, Cheldon McKean and W. Wright. The quartet sang 'Nearer My God to Thee,' 'My Anchor Holds' and 'That Far Away Land.'
James Floyd Hines, youngest son of A.J. and Jennie Hines, was born at Erie, Kansas, Sept. 8, 1913, and departed this life Oct. 24, 1933, at the age of 20 years, 1 month and 16 days. When Floyd was 5 years of age the family moved to Bronson and have made their home in this vicinity since that time. Floyd attended the Pleasant Ridge school and Bronson high school. He leaves to mourn their loss, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Hines and four sisters and one brother; Miss Grace Harvey of De-
