As a hobby, I rescue old photos that have identification on them. I recently picked up two photos. One of a baby & one of a young girl. The photo of the baby was taken in Kansas. She's identified as May (baby photo) and May Butler McCoy, probably 5-7 years old. Also written on the second photo, was: daughter of Kan & Bertie Butler.
I did a brief search & looked for May in the census and located her in the 1920 census for Bourbon Co. KS. She was living with her parents, Dan & Bertie and a brother William. May was 13 in 1920.
