Seeking the parents of John Comstock, b. abt 1877 in KS residing in Pawnee Twp, Bourbon Co KS with his grandmother (Mary) Catherine Dugan Tusing (aka Fusing in census). Also in household are Catherine's children Pricilla, Jay, and Herbert, who were born in Iowa.
The possible mother of John is Catherine's older daughter Mary Jane Tusing, who married 1st Thomas Smith in 1865 and Elias Reeves in 1895, both in IA. In between could have been a Comstock. We have no record of any children for Mary Jane.
There was also an Eva Dugan Comstock who md T.H. Topliff in Mahaska Co., IA, but this may be R.H. Topliff. If Eva was related to Catherine, it is unknown.
Any help identifying the Comstock connections to Tusing & Dugan would be appreciated. Thanks.
