Looking for George E. Sterling b. abt 1890, brother Eddie L. Sterling b. abt 1892, both born in KS They were probably brothers.
Don't know exactly who their father was. Either John Sterling b. MO abt. 1867 or William Sterling b. MO abt. 1861. Both John and William were listed in the Barber Co, KS 1920 census.
William and John's parents were probably Robert & Mary Rosanna Taylor Sterling. Robert was born Ireland, settling in Sullivan County, MO. Mary Taylor Sterling was my ggrandfather Samuel Taylor's sister. She was born in White Co., TN and moved to Sullivan County, MO in the 1840's as a young girl. I have pictures of little George and Eddie Sterling ca. 1898 in Medicine Lodge, KS. Have a photo also of possible parents. Need to pin down correct names as there might be an error in names on the back.
Would love to contact anyone from this particular line. Robert and Mary Sterling had at least 6 children, but have no more info on them than possible dates of birth. Don't know how many of them ended up in Kansas.
